How do you currently feel about church?

I love it, serve regularly, and I'm actively pastoring a church

What was your experience like growing up as a PK?

I've always known I would be a pastor/pastor’s wife

I just wanted to be a normal kid—I experienced a lot of judgment, expectations, or even betrayal

Do you still believe in God?

Yes, and I actively teach and lead others about Jesus

No- I’m questioning everything I was taught

I still believe in God, but the pain from church has distanced me from it

How do you feel about your parents' ministry?

I’m proud of it, and I’m continuing their legacy

It gave me a strong foundation, and that’s why I’m involved in church

It shaped me, but not always in a good way. I’ve stepped away from that world

It caused confusion and pain—I struggle to trust ministry because of what I saw

How often do you pray or read the Bible?

Every day—it’s part of my life

Often - it helps me stay grounded

Never—I don’t believe in it anymore

Not consistently. Sometimes I try, other times I just feel disconnected or unsure

What’s your reaction when someone invites you to church

I’m already there—sometimes I’m the one preaching

That's my space - I’ll probably be serving that day anyway

I usually decline

I may or may not honour the invitation - church hasn’t been a safe space for me

What do you think about Christian leaders?

I respect them, and I see myself as one of them.

I admire them, especially those who truly serve the people.

lol, they are all hypocrites

I struggle to trust them—my experiences have left me hurt and skeptical

How has being a PK shaped your view of Christianity?

It’s my foundation and purpose

I am fully committed to it

I’ve walked away from it

I still believe in Jesus, but organized Christianity just scares me

How did you feel when people placed high expectations on you as a PK?

I embraced the expectations and felt honored to meet them

I accepted the expectations, but sometimes I felt overwhelmed by them

The expectations became too much, and I eventually left the church

I felt hurt by the unrealistic expectations and have struggled with church hurt since then

How has being a PK shaped your relationship with God?

It has deepened my faith, and I feel more connected to God than ever

It has challenged my faith, but I continue to seek God and serve actively in the church

It has made me question everything about my faith, and I’m still trying to find my way.

It has caused me to distance myself from God due to pain or hurt from the church
